ZOO on Independence Day

Brian and I took the girls to the Henry Villas Zoo in Madison on the 4th of July. It is a free zoo that we also went to last year on Mother's Day. We knew the girls would enjoy it. We have been looking for family things to do that don't cost a lot of money. It was a really nice day (actually, it was kind of HOT) and we all had a great time......the girls were a little whiny at times....but after a week of being sick and two previous late nights.....overall they did pretty good! We had a picnic lunch and saw lots of animals! It was a nice family day!

Every one's favorite thing....one of the giraffes got REALLY close and the girls LOVED it! They watched him for a long time! This is my favorite picture of the day!
My little Cubs fan!
The girls watching some of the giraffes when they were further away.
Daddy and the girls watching the Seals.
Funny!
The girls are nose to nose with a chimp!
Mommy & Kelly in the kangaroo. Kelly remembered that we got a picture in this last year.....so we did it again this year.....except Molly was grumpy at this point and didn't want to be in the picture!
Kelly with antlers!
