Celebrating Christmas with the Herrig's

Jen and her kids came to our house today to celebrate Christmas! Kelly had fun playing with Madison and Ana and showing them all her new toys! Myles and Molly slept a lot, then ate, and Myles was awake and Molly slept some more. We decided to take the kids to McDonald's playland to run around and have fun! The kids got to open there Christmas presents and had a great time! Time flies when we're together!!!

Two girls asleep with Papa Mike

My Dad and Jackie watched the girls for a few hours yesterday so that I could run some errands and return a few things. When I came back from shopping, I found Papa Mike on the couch with two girls asleep!!!

"Me ready to build snowman, Mommy!"

Kelly woke up from her nap on Monday and found her new hat and gloves on her dresser in her room. She came out of her room from a long nap and said: "Me ready to build snowman, Mommy!"

Christmas with the Snyder's

We spent Friday celebrating Christmas with the Snyder side...Brian's parents and brother. We had a nice meal followed by lots of presents. After all the gifts were opened, we all played with Grandma and Grandpa's new present that they got each other.....a wii! We took turns playing tennis, bowling, baseball, and Brian and David even tried the boxing. It was a lot of fun!
Our family in front of our Christmas tree! Grandma and Grandpa Snyder with their granddaughters!
Uncle David with his new niece/goddaughter Molly!
Kelly opening her Radio Flyer wagon from Grandma and Grandpa! We will all be excited when the weather warms up and we can take the wagon outside!!! (It doesn't fit in our house too well!)
Kelly bowling in the hallway with Uncle David. Kelly would only let Uncle David play with her and set up the bowling pins!
Kelly has never been a big "water" drinker. She will drink it if it comes out of a fridge, because then it is 'fun".....well Grandma and Grandpa gave her a Hello Kitty water dispenser....and that sure makes drinking water FUN! :) Molly got this tummy time Boppy from Grandma and Grandpa.

Christmas day with the Murray's

Christmas afternoon was spent at my mom's house. We had an extra yummy lunch followed by lots of presents! We have one more Christmas to go tomorrow....with the Snyder side of the family. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
We attempted to get all 4 kids together for a picture......it didn't work as Daniel (1 yr.) didn't want to be in the picture. Here is my best picture of the 3 kids....Ben (3), Kelly (2 1/2), and Molly (3 weeks old).
Kelly (and Benjamin) helped Grandma bring out all the presents!

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! The Snyder family has had a great Christmas morning at home. Santa was VERY good to both our girls! :) Although Molly slept through most of the gift opening, both girls got a lot of fun presents!

Christmas Eve at the Mulgrew's

Christmas Eve was spent at my dad's house. We had lunch, followed by a lot of presents being opened! With 12 kids.....all 7 yrs. old and younger.....it makes for a crazy Christmas! It was wonderful that all my sibblings and their families were able to be together this year!
The "Mulgrew's".....my dad, brother, and I (with Kelly, Molly, Benjamin, & Daniel)
My best attempt of trying to get a picture of both tired girls with Grandma and Grandpa Mulgrew!
Our family.....with two tired girls! After we finished opening presents and before church....both girls were taking a nap by mommy & daddy!

Santa came to the Mulgrew Christmas!

So, I guess the saying "THIRD TIMES A CHARM" is correct! On Christmas Eve Santa came to the Mulgrew family Christmas. We took Kelly to see Santa at the library and she was very shy and didn't smile and hopped right off Santa's lap. Round two visiting Santa at the mall last weekend didn't go well either as Kelly had a death grip on her Daddy and wouldn't even sit on Santa's lap. Then comes the third time here today. Kelly and her 12 cousins had to all wait their turn to see Santa. Kelly watched and waited.......and then when her name was called as Santa pulled out a present from his bag with her name on it......Kelly walked right up to Santa, climbed on his lap, told him what she wanted for Christmas, opened her present, and said thank you Santa! WOW....I was blown away! I guess third times a charm really is true! (Molly slept through her first time with Santa!)
Kelly sitting.....waiting for her turn to sit on Santa's lap.....
......laying.......
....... AND standing!!!
Kelly sitting on Santa's lap......he even brought her a present! Kelly saying thank you to Santa for the Leap Frog Fridge Words.....and telling him what she wants for Christmas!

Kelly.....joining her sister in her crib....PART 2!!!

Yesterday, Kelly ran to Molly when she started crying in the morning (around 8am)....and she climbed into her crib. (Kelly wakes up around 6am). We thought it was adorable that she wanted to comfort her little sister. This morning....around 5:45am....we hear Kelly getting out of bed. Normally, she would come into our room and wake us up, if we're not already up. Today, she went into Molly's room (Molly was sound asleep), climbed into her crib and layed next to her. Kelly even brought in her blanket!!! While this is cute and adorable....it's a little scary too! Kelly must have been really careful climbing into the crib....because Molly was sound asleep through the whole thing!!!

Kelly playing in the snow with Papa

While Brian and I were finishing up some last minute Christmas shopping, the girls spent a few hours at my mom's house. Kelly got to go outside and play in the snow with Papa! Both Papa and Kelly had a GREAT TIME! :)

While Big Sister Kelly was enjoying playing in the snow with Papa.....Molly was enjoying her favorite part of Grandma and Papa's house.....being in front of the fireplace!!!

Visiting Santa.......

Yesterday, Brian and I had a few last minute Christmas presents to get.....so, we headed to Dubuque. We took the girls to the mall and planned to see Santa. Kelly had practiced (again) what she was going to tell Santa she wanted for Christmas. We waited in line for 30 minutes....only to watch Kelly hold onto Daddy with a death grip. She did not want to sit on Santa's lap. We even had Santa hold Molly....thinking Kelly would change her mind....but she didn't! We left the mall without a picture with Santa. So, since I had the girls dressed in red for Santa....I took a picture of them at home!

Singing a lullaby to "my baby sister, Molly!"

This morning......Molly was still asleep in her crib and Kelly was already awake! When Molly woke up crying, Kelly heard her baby sister Molly through the monitors. Kelly ran back to Molly's room and "THIS IS WHAT WE FOUND!!!" Kelly climbed into Molly's crib and was laying next to her.....when we asked what she was doing.....she said "singing a lullaby to my baby sister, Molly." We said "Why did you climb into the crib"......her response...."my baby sister Molly is crying!" What a great big sister!!!
