WI family vacation

We spent the last week (Friday 7/17 - Friday 7/24) in Saint Germain, WI for our yearly family vacation with my mom's side of the family. It was a fun, relaxing week. The weather started off pretty cold.....but ended up perfect in the middle of the week. Both girls had a lot of fun playing with their second cousins. We had 7 kids - all 3 years old and younger!!! (Kelly was the oldest). Kelly got to play with Ember (almost 3 years old) and Eli (2.5 years old) and Molly got to play with Jaxon (1 year old), Amelia (6 months old), and Emeri (4 months old).

Music in the Park

Yesterday, the girls and I spent the day with Grandma Peggy and Papa Michael at Asbury's Music in the Park! The weather was perfect and all of us had fun!!! (Unforuntately, Daddy was at home working on the house.....it would have been an absolutely amazing day if Daddy was with us too!!!) The best part of the day was that EVERYTHING WAS FREE!!! When you walked into the park every kid got 8 free tickets to play the games and a balloon. Kelly got to do SO MANY FUN THINGS......FOR FREE!!!!! Molly even enjoyed the music and watching everyone! It was a relaxing day for all of us!

Kelly getting her hair french braided by Tonic Salon (yes, she got her face painted too...an ice cream cone on one side and a heart on the other!) -- did I mention both were FREE?
Looking at her ADORABLE hair!!! She looked so darn cute!
While Kelly got her hair braided, Molly slept in her stroller!!!
They also had a petting zoo set up.....here is Kelly holding a fuzzy chicken!

Tuesday (7/7) was Grandma Peggy's birthday! We had a great time....going out to eat and eating the brownie ice cream M&M cake that Kelly and I made!

River!!!!

We FINALLY got our boat on the river this weekend. With the re-modeling of our house, fun river time has not happened yet this year. We wanted to get the boat out at least once before our family vacation.....and Sunday was a perfet day!!! The Herrig family was able to come with us....and the nine of us had a great time! Four adults, three big girls, and two babies!!!

Molly's first boat ride.....7 months old....she slept the entire time....to the island and on the way back too!!!
The three big girls playing in the water....they were in the water the ENTIRE day! We had to pull them out of the water for lunch and to re-apply sunscreen!!!
Molly enjoyng her sunshade!!!
Molly's first time in the river.....she didn't really know what to think at first, but after a minute or two she just lounged in her fun lily pad.
Ana, Kelly, and Madison chillin' in the tubes.

Deja vu????

We went out on our boat yesterday and spent the afternoon on the beach. Brian has always had a way of putting our kids to sleep on his lap. Here is a picture of Molly asleep yesterday (7 months old), and Kelly asleep in June of 2007 (1 year old).

Molly Ann - 7 months old!!!!!

Molly was 7 months old yesterday! It was a busy day.....Mommy worked at Loras Sports Camp, Daddy and Papa Bear put two more windows in (our bay window in our bedroom and the master bathroom window), and we went to celebrate 4th of July at the fireworks. I took Molly's 7 month picture with her lamb this morning.

Molly - getting so BIG!
Molly sits up on her own now too and plays with toys....which means big sister Kelly SURROUNDS her with toys at ALL TIMES! :) Kelly even shared her glow necklace from last night with Molly too!

Fireworks!!!!

We spent the evening at Dyersville Commercial Club park tonight. Kelly played some games and took a train ride. Molly explored AND tasted grass for the first time. We all watched the fireworks! I have come to realize that my girs are OPPOSITE in MANY WAYS!!! They are each there own person, which is good!!! :)
Here are a few examples in the past couple days....
**Kelly fell asleep before the fireworks even started while Molly was awake until the finale!
**As a baby Kelly loved carrots, peaches, and bananas. Molly loves green beans, squash, and bananas. I have had carrots and peaches both spit out at me!!!! At least they both like bananas!
**Kelly has a sweet tooth, like her mom!!! Molly doesn't even like the sweet medicine that they give you at the doctors office as one of her shots!
Two wonderful, adorable girls.....different in their own ways!!!
Happy 4th of July!!!
Molly explored grass for the first time!!!
Molly enjoyed the music!!!
Kelly enjoyed a train ride with Grandma Peggy!
Molly was WIDE AWAKE.......
.....While Kelly fell asleep on Daddy's lap before the fireworks started....we ended up waking her because we didn't want her to be upset in the morning that she missed them!!!
Kelly wasn't quite sure what to think at first, but she ended up liking everything EXCEPT the fire bombs!!!
Molly FINALLY fell asleep.....during the finale of the fireworks!!!
