Museum & Aquarium Kids Night

Last night Katelynn, Kelly, and I spent the evening at the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium for Kids Night. Kelly had A LOT of fun....looking at the fish, alligator, playing games, and winning prizes!

A rough week for Molly

Molly's last week has been a little rough! First, she got 3 teeth in a matter of 5 days! One of those teeth are totally through now and the other two have a portion pushed through the skin. She has been extra fussy and even woke up in the middle of the night the past two nights...which she NEVER does! Then today she had her eye doctor appointment. They dialated her eyes to see if she was far-sighted....and SHE'S NOT! :) They are doing a follow up exam in 6 months to be sure....because they didn't get a perfect reading. The doctor said all looks good though right now!

As you know, Kelly has been REALLY into dresses these days! This morning, she picked one of her sleeveless sundresses from last summer. After about an hour, she said she was cold. She went back to her closet and picked out her stars sweatshirt and sweatpants and her bunny slippers....but made sure she kept her dress on too!

Here she is all warmed up and twirling around the house like a princess!

Babies and blankets

Molly has a few LOVES of her own lately......babies and blankets! Grandma Peggy gave Molly her own baby, bottle, and baby blanket for Valentine's Day. She LOVES babies! Kelly has a baby that she got a long time ago.....Molly found it and wanted to play with it all the time.....of course, it became one of Kelly's new favorite things (because she didn't want her little sister playing with her baby!) Molly has taken this baby to bed with her everyday since she got it....and she cries if she wakes up in the morning and the babies bottle fell through the crib!

The sleeping Princess

For about a month now, Kelly has been really into anything Princess! First off, I have no idea where she got the idea she wanted to be a princess! I was NOT a girly, girl and I HATED wearing dresses, etc. growing up (and still do!) Anyway, when she wakes up, she wants a dress on....sometimes that's 5:30-6:30am!!! She always wants Princess accessories......crowns, magic wands, braclets, necklaces, etc. When she started this "Princess Phase" she only had a couple dresses (since I only really buy them for Christmas and Easter). She wore them ALL THE TIME! She would even wear the few sundresses she had from last summer....in the middle of winter! I am doomed......I am just hoping this Princess thing is a phase! My daughter wearing dresses everyday is craziness!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Still under the weather.....

The bug caught Kelly last night......she had a fever of 102.8 and was up all night!!! We are hoping this sickness leaves our house soon!!!

Under the weather

I started getting a cold/sinus infection this weekend, and have felt under the weather.....last night Molly woke up in the middle of the night crying, coughing, and with a yucky nose. I rocked her and we both fell asleep in the glider....this is how Daddy found us! Sickness is NO FUN! I still feel terrible, and now I have a sick baby on top of it.....how long until it passes onto another member of the family???

Happy Birthday Grandma Jackie

My Dad and Jackie spent the day at our house today. Brian and Dad pulled out our kitchen countertops and sink....to get ready for our new ones coming later this week. Grandma Jackie came to play with the girls and visit. When the guys were finished working, we had a nice dinner and cupcakes for Grandma Jackie's birthday (which was Friday, 2/5).

Hot Stuff

Molly thinks she's hot stuff this weekend! She is standing all by herself now....all the time. I bet she stood by herself 100 times today alone! She hasn't taken any steps yet (since her bruised cheek)....but I'm sure it will be coming soon!

Molly is showing a little more "spunk" lately! She definately knows what she wants, and if her sister has what she wants.....she is starting to fight for it!
