Look at those eyes.....

AREN'T THEY BEAUTIFUL????

Molly had her third eye doctor appointment yesterday. We had to put this special dialation gel into her eyes the night before her appointment and the morning of her appointment. It dialates her eyes for up to 48 hours!!!! Yes, her eyes are still BIG today! Anyway, we found out that Molly needs glasses......just like her Grandma Pat did when she was little. We will be looking for frames in the next week or two. Her right eye is much worse than her left eye.....and the doctor is afraid that her right eye is so bad that if she doesn't keep her glasses on, her right eye will become a lazy eye. She shows that she is far-sighted in both eyes.....so she can't see things close. They said this could be part of the reason why she isn't eating anything but a handful of things, as everything is blurry when you put it in front of her face. This could also be why she "freaks out" and plays strange when anyone she doesn't know gets close to her....as she is just seeing a blurry ghost in front of her. Her blue eyes are BIG and BEAUTIFUL....we will just have to get used to looking at them through her glasses.

(Yes, she did have a black left eye)

Field Trip!!!!

Kelly had her first school field trip today! She has been excited for weeks! We went to Sherman's Pumpkin Patch in Manchester for 3 hours this morning! The weather was perfect.....they had to wear jackets this morning....but took them off after a couple hours. All three preschool rooms at Xavier went to the Pumpkin Patch. We stayed with Kelly's class the entire time as they had three things for us to do.

* HAY RIDE
* CORN MAZE
* All the other fun stuff....slides, trains, swings, tunnels, hay maze, etc.

After we got to go through all three places, the class got a snack.....juice boxes and rainbow granola bars! (They normally eat lunch at 10:45am and they weren't eating lunch until 12:15pm when they got back to school). After snack, they got to go play wherever they wanted. Kelly and I were able to pick out some pumpkins for our house too! It was a fun day.....for Kelly and for me as her mom! I'm sure Kelly will look forward to more field trips.....and so will I! :)

Kelly's class (16 kids) getting ready for the hay ride! The moms, dads, and teachers got to go along too!

Field trips are so much fun!!!!

Trip to MN

We spent this last weekend in MN at my brothers house. It is my only weekend in October without a swim meet.....so we decided to head North to have an early birthday party for Ben and Daniel! Benjamin turns FIVE on October 18 and Daniel turns THREE on October 24. We brought cakes up to celebrate too.....as their "real" party is later in October. The weather was perfect all weekend....and the kids spent a lot of time outside! ALL FOUR kids got along great....and played really well together!!!!

Cousins!
Blowing out the candles!
Ben with his own fish cake....the fish under the water before......
....Daniel caught the BIG FISH!
Molly's favorite toy of the weekend! She played with this ALL THE TIME when we were inside...and played with it at 6am both mornings too!
Kelly & Ben playing a game of foosball Friday night.
Kelly was really intense!
Riding & walking to the park on Saturday.....Ben is REALLY far ahead on his bike!
Sisters playing together at the park.
Papa Michael and Molly swinging together!
Molly LOVED Papa swinging next to her.....she cried when he stopped and she had to get out to go back home!
Kelly & Daniel riding in the Jeep....they were squirting squirt guns too!
Kelly & Daniel stopped for a quick picture......Kelly drove the Jeep later.....but that will be another video post for you to giggle at!
Molly stayed on the deck during all the Jeep driving & squirt gun craziness!! She even gave Daddy a back rub!!!
We stopped at Mall of America for a few hours on our way home. Molly LOVED the American Girl store....as she LOVES babies! We stopped so Grandma could get her a baby (as Kelly already has one) for Molly's birthday or Christmas. She pushed strollers, wagons, etc. around the store the entire time! We also stopped so Kelly could play at Legoland.....but it was closed for re-modeling!!! What a bummer! Kelly shed a lot of tears as we told her we were going to Legoland before we went home!
Molly with another stroller and baby!
Kelly WANTS everything these days....it doesn't matter what it is....if it's a girl toy....she WANTS IT!!! Whether a commercial on TV or any store you go to....there is something Kelly WANTS!!! As we are walking around Mall of America she spots two Dora things....a doll and coin purse. Yes, Kelly does like Dora...but it's not her favorite thing by any means.....but she WANTED IT!!!!! Wow....I hope this WANTING stage stops soon! Kelly asked me to take a picture with these things so she would remember she wanted them! Grandma Peggy ended up getting her the coin purse....since she was so upset about Legoland!

Fun before school!

Kelly and Sophia enjoy their 30-40 minutes every morning before school! Kelly has always been an early riser (6:30am is a GOOD DAY in our house!) They get along great! Here are a few pictures I took this week already!

Here are Sophia & Kelly playing with my OLD Barbie McDonalds from when I was little. I got it out from the basement this weekend and Kelly LOVES IT! It kept them occupied both Monday AND Tuesday before school. Kelly only has Barbie, Ariel, and Cinderella....but those three princess were very hungry and ate a lot at McDonalds!
Kelly & Sophia playing in her room this morning.....
....and drinking "Mommy juice" and playing LEGOS!

YES, THEY ARE DRESSED IN THE SAME OUTFIT! RANDOM.....I GOT THAT OUTFIT OUT FOR KELLY, AND SOPHIA CAME TO OUR HOUSE WEARING IT TOO! WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WE BOTH HAD THAT OUTFIT!!!
