Sleepover!

The girls had the two older Mulgrew cousins sleepover on Easter night......the kids were all exhausted after a long, busy day....and were asleep by 8:30pm!  All four of them were up early and played all morning/afternoon....until Brian, Katie, and Matthew came back to pick them up to head home to Minnesota.  They had a lot of cousin play time!
Ben slept on a cot in Kelly's room
Daniel slept on a cot in Molly's room
Matthew was sleeping on the fold out couch in the living room....but Brian and Katie took him with them as he needs to be a little older for a sleepover.

Easter Egg Hunt

We had a chilly Easter Egg Hunt at our house!  Each kid had a specific color of egg to find!
 Ready to go!
Kelly, Daniel, and Molly found a lot of hidden eggs in the rocks on the side of the house
 Molly spots a purple egg...
 ...and another!
Kelly sees a pink egg hidden HIGH in the tree!
Kelly sees another pink egg high.....
...but this time she can CLIMB to get it....

SUCCESS!
Molly carrying around a lot of purple eggs!
Kelly showing off all the pink eggs she found!

Easter Day

We had a nice Easter Day with my side of the family at our house.  We all went to our church at 10:30am and had a wonderful meal afterwords.  The girls enjoyed having their energetic boy cousins to play with....as normally they are the only kids on Easter Day.
The girls
Our family - both girls were cold and didn't cooperate very well for a family picture
 The Mulgrew family
 Cousins!
 Papa Bear
(Matthew DID NOT want his picture taken!)
 Grandma Peggy & Papa Michael

Easter baskets/presents from both sets of grandparents

So cute - the girls both put the Hawaii flower barrettes in their hair right away....while they continued to see what was in the rest of the eggs.

25 Years

We celebrated Mom & Michael's 25 year wedding anniversary with an adult dinner at Vinny Vinuchi's on Friday April 29 when Brian and Katie were home for Easter!  It was nice to be able to have a relaxing dinner without interruptions from kids, cutting up food, bathroom breaks, etc.

Happy 25th Anniversary Grandma Peggy & Papa Michael!
*Thanks to Tom & Pat for watching the girls and my Dad for watching the Mulgrew boys*

Happy Easter

Grandma Peggy & Papa Michael brought these dresses home from their trip to Hawaii!

Spring Swimming Lessons

The girls finished up the first session of spring swimming lessons today.  They both had a great time....and learned A LOT this session!

***Kelly was in jellyfish (the 4th of 6 levels)....and PASSED....and is going to try the DASH swim team in a couple weeks for the free trial period.  She would be the youngest GIRL on the team.  There are 3 other six year old boys that were on the team during the winter season.  We'll see if more young girls come to the free trial period.....and how Kelly likes it!

***Molly was in tadpole....and improved so much!  She actually got her face wet (with goggles) this session and would do some bobs with her instructor and go all the way under the water.  That is a HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!!  She is a GREAT KICKER too!

Both girls had a wonderful time and learned so much with these 8 swim lessons!
Kelly looks like a little swimmer with her Speedo suit.....and when she puts a cap and goggles on....she reminds me so much of myself when I was younger!
Miss Molly wearing her EAGLE suit!
(I got this for Kelly a few years ago and now it fits Molly....so both my girls look like little swimmers!)
My attempts of getting a picture of the girls together......

....they only want to be SILLY!
Kelly's backstroke!  She is really good at backstroke!
Her freestyle has come a long way....and she bilateral breathes!!!!

She loves diving!
Myles and Molly were in the same group!
Molly LOVES to kick with a belt on
 Kicking on her back
Floating on her back without the belt....and help from Taylor
A quick smile and wave to Mommy!

Molly and Taylor Tittle (one of my swimmers)
Kelly and Lauren Noel (one of my swimmers too!)
Myles and Molly LOVED taking a shower together after lessons!  Too funny!
