Kelly is finishing her first full year of competitive swimming on the DASH swim team! She started in April of 2013....when she was still 6 years old....and didn't know anyone! She turned 7 years old by the end of her first summer season. She swam the winter DASH season.....and is now finishing up her second summer season this weekend. Through all of this....she has made a really good DASH friend named Callie Dolphin. Callie just finished second grade at Resurrection School in Dubuque. They are both going to be third graders this year. They have so much in common......and not just swimming! They both LOVE crafts too! There taste in fancy dresses is even the same.....as without knowing it.....they both had the EXACT SAME First Communion Dress! Kelly was able to go to Callie's house a few times this summer after morning DASH practice....as I was coaching at Loras Sports Camp. Kelly and Callie have the start of an amazing friendship! They could both eventually swim for me at Wahlert.....wouldn't that be amazing.....I sure think so!
