I hosted the first Girl Scout BROWNIE Badge day today! Since Kelly is officially a Brownie Girl Scout.....she has 25 badges that she CAN earn in the next two years. She will earn around 16 at meetings over the next two years. The other 9......we can do on our own. I thought it would be fun for Kelly to earn this badge with some of her girl scout friends......so I opened it up to our troop of 16 girls.....and 7 of them were able to come (on one days notice)! I decided this at the last minute....because it was so rainy and yucky and cold....and we couldn't go to the pool!
The girls learned about BUGS!!!
They listened to a bug story, made a collage, found and identified 3 bugs, made a lightening bug craft, caught some bugs, took a hike, and had a great afternoon!
