Birthday T-Ball Game

We celebrated Kelly's 5th Birthday on Saturday! (She turns FIVE this Friday, 6/17). Her day started with a T-Ball game! It was a little cold, but still a FUN birthday celebration! Kelly did GREAT at her game too....with three hits! She also fielded the ball a few times too! Way to go BIRTHDAY PRINCESS!

Hot Days...

We have had a couple HOT days yesterday and today. The kids have enjoyed playing with the neighbors in the sprinkler and pools.....and ice cream cones are FUN TOO!

Fishing

We spent a little while fishing today at the Dyersville Sportsman Club. Kelly normally fishes once a year on our family vacation...and Molly has never fished. It was a nice day, and something different to do with the girls. It worked out great....as they both caught a fish!

Molly decided to reel her line in on her own...

...little did we know it had a little (baby) fish on it! She was excited...but before I could snap a picture, the fish was off the hook. The poor little fish didn't even get the worm! After Molly caught and saw her fish on her Dora pole...she was finished fishing for the day!

Family mornings

The girls have gotten used to one family morning at home every week. The day changes depending on our weekend plans, but both girls ask for our family morning breakfast. They LOVE waking up to Mickey Mouse pancakes, french toast, or waffles. They both eat breakfast great (YES, even Molly!) This morning was no different. We finished our breakfast around 8am...our kids are early risers....and both girls were excited to play with NEW things!

Kelly couldn't wait to open her Barbie glitter glam vac that she received from Jen for her birthday! It was definately a hit with Miss Kelly!!! Glitter HEAVEN for a soon to be 5 year old!

(We got our baby swing out last night for Adeline....and are keeping it out for a week for Baby Matthew. The Mulgrew family will be here next weekend for Kelly's birthday. Molly will have a fun-filled week swinging her babies!!!)

A great day with amazing friends!

The Snyder/Herrig/Trifone families spent a WONDERFUL afternoon/evening together at our house. The 6 adults had time to talk and catch up while the kids were swimming, playing in the sandbox, and on the swing set. The kids got along great!!! We even played a little bean bags and lasso golf too! A fun day had by all!!!! We look forward to next months family gathering!

T-Ball

Kelly had her second t-ball game this morning through the City of Dyersville Park & Rec. She did great today and had a lot of fun!

We're in TROUBLE!

Kelly had a play date today with her best friend Sophia. It's been less than a week since she has been finished with school....and multiple times on a daily basis she tells me she misses either Mrs. Riniker, Sophia, Cambrie, Ellie, or school. On Sunday, she told me at least 10 times she missed Mrs. Riniker....I told her she wouldn't normally have seen her that day anyway....but it didn't matter! The girls played at our house today...as it was a colder, of and on, rainy day.

They had fun together....but WE ARE IN TROUBLE!

4. They are only 5 yrs. old (Well, Kelly isn't officially 5 yet!)

When I asked them what they were doing....they said "Just talking!"

** Side note - Molly was sleeping on the couch at this point in time...she never saw them playing in her room!
