JELLYSTONE!!!

Our family had a wonderful time (despite the HOT weather!) at Jellystone Park in Bagley, WI.  Brian took off three days during the week (as it is MUCH more reasonable and not as busy).  We tested our new (to us) pop-up camper to ALL the extremes!
** It was 100 degrees so we tested our air conditioner (it worked great!)
** It rained HARD the second night (no leaks!)
** We had 60 mph winds (the camper was still standing!)

The girls had a wonderful time....and are already asking when we can go back next!

**WARNING....lots of pictures below!!!!**
We arrived at noon on Tuesday and it was time for the water balloon toss......we didn't even check out our campsite yet and the girls were already involved in a fun activity!

Brian and I started to set up the camper....but the girls knew there was a picture frame craft at 1pm.  I took the girls up to the Ranger Station while Brian finished up at our campsite.  Yes, the girls participated in TWO activities before we were completely set up!
After the craft, they checked out the pedal carts (which were included with their bracelets) and rode them back to the campsite!  They rode these A LOT in the three days we were at Jellystone!
Then we were off to the POOL....where we spent a lot of time due to the crazy hot weather!

A break from swimming.....for the girls to play mini-golf!  They both LOVED the 18 hole mini golf course!!!  They played 4 times! (It was also included in their bracelets!)
 *YOGI*

 *Boo-boo*

Both girls did a GREAT job mini-golfing!  Molly used her club on ALL the holes.....and was the ONLY PERSON in our group that got a HOLE IN ONE!!!!!!
 *CINDY*

 Molly & Cindy

The girls by the BIG YOGI where they raise and lower the flag pole every day!
 Kelly LOVED meeting the characters!
Molly was a little more hesitant!  She would go up and hug them.....but wouldn't smile or look at the camera.....or even look up at Yogi!

 **Memories!!!**
(I have a picture of my brother and I in this picnic basket when we were little and went to Jellystone with my Dad)
 Jumping Pillow!

 Name that ball activity
 Way to go Kelly!
 Cute!
All ready to watch the Yogi cartoons the first night!
(They were cancelled the second night due to the storm!)

Our family with Yogi before the wagon ride!
The girls LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the wagon ride.....and laughed a lot!
Yogi took Daddy's hat and put it on Kelly!
The wagon rides are one of the many things they are still talking about!
Kelly looks SO HAPPY!!!  Molly is looking at the camera at least! :)
 More POOL FUN!

 Our camp site!
 Meeting Boo-Boo

The girls with Papa Michael while they were playing mini-golf.  Grandma Peggy and Papa Michael came to visit us for half the day......it was REALLY HOT though.......Grandma didn't want her picture taken.
Our 3 year old golfer who got the ONLY hole in one!

Daddy and the girls playing a card game in the camper before bed.
Sound asleep......we put a movie on for them to watch since the cartoons were cancelled the second night.....they both fell asleep after 5 minutes!  All the activities paired with the heat tired our two girls out!
Kelly underwater in the pool the morning after the storm!
Kelly learned to do flips......my little swimmer is going to be doing flipturns soon! :)
Our last swim....after the storm!  You can see all the branches, leaves, etc. on the deck.  Kelly found a FROG in the POOL!
 She was SO EXCITED!
 My little swimmer!
Molly loved Daddy pulling her in the water while she held onto the noodle.
Molly showing Kelly the big frog!
....then right before we left....Kelly found a baby frog too!
Here's what our camper survived.....6 trees that we saw fell over!

Most of the mini-golf holes were flooded as we received A LOT of rain in one night!

This HUGE tree at the front of the ranger station split in many ways.....they were still working on cleaning it up when we checked out at 2:30pm as it was blocking the road.  It missed the two campers that were behind it!

***We had a wonderful time!  Next time we hope for some more manageable weather.....but Jellystone was amazing!  I remember it as a child, and I love that my girls will too!!!***
