We celebrated Grandma Peggy's birthday on her REAL BIRTHDAY! The girls were excited to be a part of Grandma's special day! They were both able to sing to her three times (on the phone in the morning, at the restaurant, and with cupcakes at our house that evening!) We went out to eat and came home to yummy cupcakes! After the girls went to bed, the adults were able to play a game of Domino's. It was a fun evening. Happy Birthday, Mom!
Kelly was excited to give Grandma all the presents she made for her!
Cute picture!
(Kelly's hair was still wet as she just got out of the shower from playing in the sprinkler on these crazy hot days!)
Kelly gave Grandma a mug with her 6 year old picture on it!
Kelly "quilted" Grandma a small quilt for her....since Grandma has made her so many special blankets and quilts!
Molly made a card with LOTS of stickers on it....and spent a lot of time writing GRANDMA PEGGY on the front. We are really working on her letters!
We went to a new restaurant - The General Store in Anamosa.....the waitress gave the girls some bread to feed the fish off the back deck of the restaurant. The girls thought it was really neat!
The girls with Grandma on her birthday!
Molly thought the gummy worms on the ice cream sundae were fun!
Happy Birthday Grandma Peggy!
We love you!
