Iowa City Shopping Trip

On Monday the girls and I took a day shopping trip to Coralville Mall in Iowa City with Grandma Peggy. My main purpose was to try to find my girls shoes! Sidenote....Kelly has an EXTRA WIDE foot and Molly has a WIDE foot....which means there are only a few stores that even carry shoes for kids in wide and extra wide widths. I'm sure you have heard me complain many times before.....as you can't just go to Target and pick up a pair of shoes for my kids! I got both the girls measured a couple different places....but it always comes out to wide and extra wide....which means no fun for me! The trip was pretty successful.....Kelly got two pairs of close-toed sandels and a pair of flip-flops and Molly got one pair of sandels too! Total Bill = $150!!!!!! I wanted tennis shoes and dressy sandels for Molly but they didn't have any that fit.

Molly wouldn't stop long enough for me to get a picture of her....here's an action shot! She LOVED the play area....we were there over an hour!
The girls playing together in the play area.
Molly fell asleep after all that time in the play area!
Grandma Peggy thought Kelly was such a good girl that she took her to build a bear!!!! They weren't very busy, which was nice....since last time we went on a Saturday and it was craziness! Kelly picked out an adorable bear this time (she picked Hello Kitty last time). Now her "Princess Bear" and "Hello Kitty" are best friends....just like Kelly and Sophia! She has been playing with BOTH of them....plus Amy (her American Girl doll) ALL THE TIME! All three of them were even loaded up this morning into the van to go to the library!!!

Here is Kelly stepping on the pedal to stuff her bear.
Kelly checking to make sure the bear is perfect!
Picking out a heart!
Putting the heart inside her Princess Bear!
Brushing her bear....
....listening to her heart....

....and taking her blood pressure.

Kelly whispering to Grandma Peggy that she wants to name her bear "Princess!"

Kelly and Princess Bear waiting for her birth certificate to be printed!
Kelly loved her time at Build a Bear!
Thanks Grandma Peggy!
