Dragonboat!!!

Yesterday, my swimming and diving team competed in the Dubuque Dragonboat Races. Normally, we race on Saturday and Sunday....but this year we had a swim meet on Saturday so we only raced on Sunday. We got 2nd place in our division.....behind the Hempstad Gold team. (Hempstead has two teams because they have 62 girls!!!) It was a beautiful day. Brian brought Kelly down to the races in the afternoon. She got to see mommy in two races! It sounds like she liked to watch, but she enjoyed playing in the dirt even more!!! (Notice how DIRTY her hands are in the picture of Kelly playing with a caterpillar.)

(I had 6 girls that are on my swimming & diving team that didn't participate this year....but we still had to sit out 4 girls per race, since only 18 girls paddle at a time!)
