"I can do it myself, mommy!"

Kelly pointed to a banana on the kitchen counter this morning, so I got one ready for her. I tried to give her a bite but she just pushed the banana away. I then broke a piece off of the banana and she didn't want that either! I then sat the banana back on the counter and she was NOT HAPPY about that either. She pointed back to the banana....Brian and I then realized that she was trying to say "I can do it myself, mommy!" We gave her the banana and she ate the WHOLE THING!!!
