Kelly's REAL Birthday

Kelly wanted to attend her DASH swim team practice on her REAL birthday......to celebrate with her team!  She has seen many swimmers bring in treats on their birthdays.....so she wanted to as well!  She swam from 8:00-9:15am....and then stayed at the pool with a DASH friend to swim from 9:15-11:15am, while I coached at Loras Sports Camp.  Kelly had a great time with her friend, Callie!  Kelly ate lunch with me at camp, and then I took her to UD for Kids....where they sang to her in her cupcake bake-off class!

 It's hard to know how many swimmers will be at DASH on a given day......so we went with a cookie cake so we could cut the pieces small or big....depending on the number of kids at practice that day.  I love that you can attend any TWO practices you want a week....out of the 5 days....but some days you may have 8 kids and the next 28 kids....so the cookie cake could accommodate any number!

Kellys 8th Birthday Party

Kelly celebrated turning EIGHT years old with a POOL PARTY at the Dyersville Aquatic Center!

She was very excited that she was able to invite all the girls in her grade at Xavier.  It is always so hard to choose for Kelly!  She had a great time celebrating turning eight with her friends.  The sun was shining, and we managed the wind to the best of our ability!  Kelly had a great time....and that is what counts!!!

Girl Scout DAY CAMP - Thursday

The Dyersville Girl Scouts Service Unit hosts a two-day Day Camp at Commercial Club park each summer in June.  This is Kelly's third year attending.  Each year, the theme is something different and the activities are geared towards the theme.

***Kelly asked Cambrie to attend girl scout day camp with her!  She wasn't even a girl scout....but joined to be able to attend day camp with Kelly!  They are great friends and enjoy arts and crafts together!  They both had a wonderful day at day camp and look forward to another day of fun tomorrow!***
