Xavier Strong

This is our second year at Xavier being a PBIS school......Positive Behavorial Intervention and Supports

**This years theme is "GET ON THE BUS"**

We have a large school bus with all the teachers and staff members pictures at school in the windows on the bus.

**Under the BIG bus are the preschoolers.....once they receive 25 tickets they get to be on the bus! Then their bus gets moved when they get 50 tickets.

**On the opposite wall are all the Kindergartners through sixth graders. Once they receive 50 tickets they get on the bus.....and then get moved when they reach 100 tickets.

Molly is ONE Of 15 preschoolers in the 50 ticket club!!!!

Kelly's girl scout troop voted on three things they wanted to spend the troop money on....from selling fall sales and girl scout cookies. The first one was ice skating! (The other two are a pool party in July and a hair and nails day towards the end of the summer at Capri). We took 20 second graders to Mystique.....and they had fun while earning an ice skating patch!

Kelly LOVES ice skating....and is looking forward to ice skating at Loras Sports Camp again this summer!

Family Bike rides

Last year our family really started to enjoy bike rides! Kelly was able to ride so much farther...and truly enjoyed riding with Mom and Dad. Molly LOVED the pull behind bike carrier too....so it was a win for all of us! Molly has always been tall for her age....and last year was already pushing it for her to fit in the bike carrier...so we knew that carrier wouldn't work this year! I received an unexpected gift card from a student at school....so we put it towards a pull behind bike for Molly! She loves it....and we LOVE that we can go on family bike rides!!!

Sleepovers....

We had tickets to one last Saints game this season........and Molly isn't a fan of the late games.....so Kelly brought her friend Sophia! Kelly and Sophia enjoyed the game....and sleepover at our house. Molly had her own sleepover at Grandma Peggy and Papa Michael's house! She had so much fun.....when I met to pick her up on Saturday morning her first comment to me was "I love sleepovers...but they wear me out!" Too cute!

Here are all the animals Molly packed for her ONE NIGHT away from home! Molly LOVES her stuffed animals!!! When I told her to pack what she wanted.....this is what I got from her!

Playdates!

Both the girls were able to have a friend over after school for a few hours today.....and they had so much fun!

Molly & Paige played with the Sofia castle a lot!

Maria and Kelly pretended to be teenagers on old phones.....they are both going to be EIGHT...(Maria 5/20 & Kelly 6/17).....going on EIGHTEEN!!!

Saints Game

Our family enjoyed the Saints game today! The theme was Mascot Mania......so they had a dozen different mascots from around Dubuque....and the girls LOVED it! The Mascots played hockey in between periods....which was really funny! Brian was extra lucky....as he caught a t-shirt....and then a flying puck!!!

The girls were excited to get a picture with Bernie....the Saints Mascot!!!

Xavier Family Fun Day!!!

Our school puts on a fun day each year and the girls really look forward to it! They have lots of games and activities along with the annual basket raffle.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Saturday before St. Patrick's Day is always fun in Dyersville. The parade is a fun time for everyone.....and the girls were each able to enjoy the parade with a friend this year....which makes it extra fun!
