As a leader for Kelly's girl scout brownie troop.....we each plan two badges per year.
(We have 5 leaders!) The first one I planned was the pottery badge.....as Kelly loves everything about art....so I knew it would be one of her favorites! The Xavier art teacher came in and demonstrated how to make a clay fish....and taught them about different techniques. All 23 girls had a great time making their clay fish sculpture. Ms. Recker then fired the fish....and they were ready to be glazed at our next meeting by the girls....and then they were fired again! Fun times in the art room earning the pottery badge!
