Molly's doctor appt.

Molly had her 9 month doctor appointment today. It was a little crazy....we were there for an hour and a half.....and the news wasn't all good!!! Most of you probably know that Molly doesn't stand very often. Even when you hold her, she won't push on your legs. This came up at her 6 month appointment but it wasn't a concern then....now it is. She is now 9 months and still not pushing or holding her weight on her legs......So......the doctor had me take her for X-Rays tonight. He thinks there could be something wrong with the femurs in her legs.....or if the X-Ray comes back normal, it could be that her spinal cord isn't stretched to her legs....or somthing to that extent. It is VERY SCARY! If the X-Ray is normal, she will have an MRI when she is 1 year old to see what is going on.....that means, they would have to put her to sleep....SCARY! Then she would proabably have to have surgery to correct the problem. I am hoping to get the X-Ray results tomorrow (my peditrician's daughter is a diver for Hempstead and will be at our meet tomorrow). There is a small chance that she is just developing late....really late.....but it is enough of a concern that he is worried. On another note, Molly's right eye is still not measuring in the normal range. (That is the eye that had the blocked tear duct). They will do a vision test again on her at 1 year. It is showing that she is far-sided in her right eye. Here are her 9 month stats:

Weight - 22.4 lbs. - 95%
Height - 29 in. - 98%
Head - 45 cm - 75%

Please pray that we get some good results from the X-Rays!!!
