Elmo!!!

I was cleaning out my closet today while Kelly took a nap and I found these Elmo slippers that I had in college (yes, I had big Elmo slippers in college!) Elmo rates pretty high in Kelly's life theses days. She loves watching Sesame Street!!! So, when Kelly woke up, she thought they were the coolest slippers ever! She went and got her duck slippers so we would both have FUN slippers! I tried to get Kelly Elmo slippers but they were all out of her size and everything is now clearanced out so I couldn't get her any! :( She didn't mind, she just wore Mommy's!!!

Kelly took all her toys out of one of the cubbie holes in our entertainment center today. She decided she was going to play in there!!! It was really funny and adorable!

Kelly has ALWAYS loved bathtime! She loves the water...just like her mommy! Today we had swim practice in the bathtub!!! :) We worked on our front float, back float, kicking, etc. She made her mommy proud!

So tired!!!

The holidays....and Brian's birthday are catching up with Kelly (Brian's birthday was Saturday). She has ALWAYS been a really good sleeper....but today was the first time that she fell asleep on the couch! We were watching Sesame Street together (Well...only the Elmo part....because Kelly loves Elmo) and she feel totally asleep.....for an hour! It was so cute!

Kelly found a new friend when Katelynn came to our house yesterday to celebrate Christmas. They played with all Kelly's new fun toys.....her kitchen, doll, stroller, blocks, bear, Little People, pony, puzzle....just to name a few. Kelly loved having Katelynn at our house. When Kelly was finished eating dinner....we told her to go out and play (like she always does while Brian and I finish eating). Kelly went over to Katelynn and grabbed her sleve like she was saying "Katelynn, let's go play!" It was adorable! She found a playmate in Katelynn and didn't want to play without her! Katelynn is really good with Kelly!

Tea Party!

After all our Christmas Celebrations were over, we had ALL Kelly's new toys in the living room...with our tree too! It was crazy! Kelly decided she was going to have a "tea party" at her new table and chairs.....with her new giant bear! She got some fruit from her new kitchen set and fed it to the bear...it was adorable! Oh yeah...she's wearing a new outfit too!

Celebrating Christmas at the Murray's

Wow...this blog entry is really late....but I guess, better late than never! We celebrated Christmas at my mom's house on Thursday night through Saturday 12/27 - 12/29. It was a lot of fun having the time with Grandma and Grandpa and the Mulgrew family. The kids were SPOILED....to say the least! We opened presents throughout the day on Friday and a little on Saturday morning. Late Saturday morning the kids went outside to play in the snow and then we made a trip to Chuck-E-Cheese for lunch! It was a busy couple days, but a lot of fun!
