Kelly is enjoying her second season of Dyersville Soccer - she moved up into the 1st/2nd grade league this year....so she is one of the youngest on the team.  That doesn't stop her....as she gets right in there with the rest of the kids!  She truly enjoys soccer!

Molly's first day of preschool

Today was Molly's 1st day of 3 year old preschool!!!  She was so excited to go to school, like her big sister Kelly!  She will be attending the 3 year old preschool at Xavier on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-3:15pm.  I had an outfit all ready for Molly to wear....but she decided she didn't want to wear it and would ONLY wear her Tinkerbell outfit.....so here is my adorable 3 year old...

1st Grade

Kelly started FIRST GRADE today!!!!  She is growing up so fast!  She was so ready to go back to school....it should be a great school year!

 Soccer season is here!

Kelly had her first game in the older league today.  She moved up to the 1st/2nd grade league....where they have actual referees (instead of coaches).  She is the youngest on her team of 15 kids....but she truly LOVES soccer!

Bonding with a Purpose

This is my 14th season as the Head Coach for the Wahlert Catholic Swimming and Diving Team.  We have ALWAYS had a team-building day.....whether going to Noah's Ark, Four Mounds Ropes Course, Mines of Spain, or many others......this year surpassed all of them!  My team used some money from our club account to purchase food to make a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City.  The captains bought all the ingredients and I split up the 3 Wahlert vehicles into teams of 7 girls....separating close friends and making sure all ages were in each suburban.  The girls had a great time while giving back to others.  After we finished at the Ronald McDonald house we went to the new University of Iowa Pool for a quick swim, followed by a Scavenger Hunt on campus.  It was a great team-building day!
