Kelly's 6th Friend Birthday Party - Skate Country

Kelly celebrated her 6th birthday with 7 amazing friends!  We went to Skate Country....and 6 of those girls had NEVER been skating before!  It was a great afternoon.....tiring.....but wonderful!  It will be a party that we will always remember!

4th Annual Big Girl/Mommy Day

Kelly and I had our 4th Big Birthday Girl/Mom Day in the Quad Cities with my two college roommates/friends Sarah and Molly....and their daughters Michaela & Myka.  The last three years we have gone to the Children's Museum and the girls had a blast!  We were afraid the girls were outgrowing that museum, so we decided to head to the zoo followed by a splash pad.  Everyone had a great time!  The girls played great together and the Moms were able to catch up a little bit.  It was a fun day!!!

(Next year we may have to have Molly & Riley join the big girl day too!)

T-Ball Saturdays

Today was Kelly's third Saturday morning T-Ball game......and the first that the weather was actually nice!

Pool days!

The girls and I (along with many friends) have enjoyed two afternoons at the Dyersville pool this week.  Kelly is a little fish and LOVES the water!  Molly is doing a TON better than last year and enjoys the pool (as long as she is wearing her belt and no one splashes her in the face!)

On Tuesday there were 14 kids from Kelly's kindergarten class of 29 kids at the pool!  It was CRAZY!

Today we brought Maria and Cambrie to the pool with us from Kelly's class and our neighbors Lexi and Logan too!

White Sox T-Ball

Kelly had her second T-Ball game this morning.....this is her second year of playing T-Ball for the Dyersville White Sox team.  She especially enjoys batting.....and never uses the actually "T".  This league is for recently completed preschoolers and kindergartners....so last year she was one of the young ones on the team and this year she is in the older group.  If she continues, next year she will be in the 1st and 2nd grade softball league for girls as they split into softball and baseball after they complete 1st grade.
