Easter Egg Hunt

The girls were lucky to have an invitation only Easter Egg Hunt today.

(My Dad is friends with the Park Manager in Dubuque and he puts on a friends and family invitation only Easter egg hunt every couple years....Kelly went when she was three).

The next age group was the 1, 2, & 3 year olds. Jaxon (Molly's 2nd cousin) was in this age group with Molly.

It was so fun to watch the little kids....they had their eye on a certain egg....and ran by a bunch to get that egg! Too adorable!

Final count....

Molly 41 eggs plus a pinwheel - TOTAL 42 items!

Kelly 43 eggs, 1 egg flyer, and a pinwheel - TOTAL of 45 items!

Coloring Easter Eggs

We spent Good Friday EVENING....coloring Easter Eggs with the Salow family! The girls enjoyed being able to dye eggs with some friends! We have some bright colored eggs at our house!

Kelly thought it was FUN wearing gloves.....so she could just DIVE RIGHT IN!!!!

Grandma Jackie has made it a tradition that she makes a bunny cake for each family to decorate and take home for Easter. The girls really enjoy it! They both had a lot of fun....but VERY different ideas on how the cake should be decorated!

**Side note....Grandma Jackie is going to make a small bunny for each kid next year, since they are all getting older and have such different decorating ideas!

Last year.....you could tell our cake was a bunny......

Grandma Pat's Birthday

Today was Grandma Pat's "special day!" She said she didn't want to have a birthday...but the girls LOVE birthdays and want to help celebrate and blow out candles as much as possible!!! We went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse and came home to cupcakes while singing Happy Birthday!

Molly's play group - Easter Egg Hunt

Molly had her first egg hunt of this Easter season! She had a blast with some of her 3 year old library friends! Each kid had a specific color of egg that they had to find....Molly picked PURPLE!

She found all 10 eggs on her own, along with a filled cup and a bottle of bubbles.
