LIBRARY Halloween Party

Brian took the girls to the Halloween Party at our library on Saturday while I was at my district swim meet. He said the girls had a lot of fun!!! They read some spooky stories, made a vampire sucker craft, had a costume contest, and went trick-or-treating at 10 businesses on first avenue. It was a great start to our next few days of Halloween FUN!

Pumpkin Carving

The girls were both able to pick out there own pumpkins when we went to the Pumpkin Patch. They both were excited about carving there VERY OWN PUMPKIN.

Like many other things.....they were very different in there Halloween Tradition!

Kelly picked one of the LARGEST pumpkins....she was excited to carve it!
Kelly DOVE right in once Daddy cut the top off!
Her expression is priceless!!!
She dug out all the "guts!"
(AND ENJOYED IT!!!!)
YUCKY HANDS!
She watched closely as Daddy helped carve the face she picked out.
Proud of her pumpkin!
Kelly and Daddy!
Molly picked out a smaller pumpkin
She wanted to help Daddy cut the top off.
Once the top was off....she looked inside...
...and she didn't like what she saw!
Her expression is great here watching Daddy scoop the "guts" out.
(She wouldn't even come close to putting her hand in the pumpkin OR scooping anything out of it)
So....this is what Molly did instead....posed for pictures!
(and made funny faces!)
***While Daddy carved Molly's pumpkin for her!!!***
Molly was all proud of it when it was done though!!!

My two girls enjoyed there pumpkin carving....even if there experiences were VERY different!
