Kelly had her friend Cambrie over to our house after they both finished there soccer games. It is my last weekend before 6 weeks of Saturday swim meets....so I let Kelly have a friend over. The girls had a lot of fun! They played outside for a long time....riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline, playing T-Ball, blowing bubbles, etc. When it got colder they came inside and put together beaded necklaces, played "house", Princess games, did pretend make-up, and I helped them paint toenails. It is fun to hear the chatter of two 5 year old girls!

We celebrated Papa Tom's birthday today with pizza, ice cream, and cupcakes at Happy Joe's!

On Saturday afternoon when it was raining.....the four kids went into the Salow's camper to watch Yogi Bear. When we checked on them a little while later, this is what we found!!!

Day 2 of CAMPING

Our second day of camping was just as fun as our first....but a little less muddy!

We had a great time....the girls spent a lot of time riding bikes, playing on the swing set, painting fingernails, going on a hay ride....and just having fun being KIDS!

Kelly even met up with her friend Joe from her Kindergarten class. They rode bikes & played together too as he was visiting his Grandma and Grandpa that were camping too!!!

Camping in the RAIN....

We planned on going camping this weekend with Craig, Emily, Logan, and Lexi. Well, it rained last night....and off and on all day too! Since the Salow's have a camper....we still went out for the day. The kids had a BLAST.....riding bikes and playing in the mud! (Well, Molly didn't really play in the mud!) Kelly made some amazing MUD PIES...and was officially the dirtiest I have EVER seen her! Thank goodness for nice showers at the campsite!!! The adults stayed dry under the shelter and played games and the kids watched a movie and colored inside the camper when it was raining. It was a fun day.....but we didn't set up our tent as the ground was too gross! We are home, clean, and dry and ready for some nice camping weather tomorrow!!!
