Christmas Eve (Mulgrew Christmas) - Round 2

We spent Christmas Eve with my Dad's side of the family. Since Grandma and Papa already gave all the grandkids there presents, we just let the kids play, talked, and ate a late lunch. Santa ALWAYS makes an appearance and has a special present for all the grandkids....so that was the highlight of the day!!! After Santa visited, we went to church together at St. Anthony's.

Santa brought her Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

When Molly's name was called for a present.....she immediately ran to Papa Bear and would NOT go up to Santa unless Papa went with her! He tried to set her on Santa's lap but Molly said "No Papa, No Papa, No Papa!" So, Molly sat next to Santa....on Papa's lap to get her present.

Santa gave her an Elmo & Zoe Sesame Street purse.....so I think she thought the guy in the red suit just might be ok....

....so ALL ON HER OWN....she gave Santa a hug! Everyone was SHOCKED and laughed!

Before Santa left......he got hugs from all the grandkids.....Kelly was first in line.....

Molly wasn't too far behind either! She gave Santa a hug.....and Papa wasn't even there to protect her!

ROUND 2 of Christmas craziness for the Snyder family!

Christmas CRAZINESS - Round 1

Today was the first of many Christmas celebrations....Friday (Mulgrew), Saturday (Murray), Sunday (Snyder) Christmas' the next three days! It seems like there are never enough hours in the days. Oh, and we will be attending church tomorrow evening, along with Santa coming Saturday morning too! Busy and crazy times! The girls and I dropped Brian off at work this morning and spent the day in Dubuque....since my brother and his family were already in town for the holidays from Minnesota. We went to Grandma and Papa Murray's in the morning until mid afternoon where they gave each grandkid one present. Then we went to Grandma and Papa Mulgrew's late afternoon, picked up Daddy from work, and spent the night at their house....where they got some more presents! It has already been a busy day ONE of holiday celebrations!

Since Molly is the youngest, she was the first to open her present from Grandma and Papa Murray......but she had a lot of helpers!

Kelly was telling Grandma and Papa Mulgrew that she LOVED Cambrie's curly hair at her preschool party.....so Kelly asked if Grandma Jackie would curl her hair.....and she said yes!

Preschool Christmas Party

Kelly had her preschool Christmas party today! We played lots of fun games, the kids sang to Baby Jesus and ate cupcakes, they gave their teacher her present, and she got all of them presents too! What a fun start to the holiday weekend!

Christmas Baking with Grandma Peggy

We spent this past Saturday baking lots of Christmas goodies with Grandma Peggy. We had two helpers this year....as Molly really wanted to help bake AND sample cookies! We made lots of yummy Christmas treats.....peanut butter cookies, snickerdoodles, dipped pretzels, chocolate M&M cookies, and more!

Christmas Baking - Round 1

The girls and I completed ROUND 1 of our Christmas baking this afternoon.....as we made homemade, frosted, cutout sugar cookies! YUMMY! Both girls had a great time frosting, decorating, and sampling the cookies. Round 2 of Christmas baking is tomorrow at my mom's house!

SNOW DAYS!

Kelly had her first school snow day on Monday as school was cancelled! We got more snow last night.....so Kelly had a 2 hour delay today! She was upset on Monday, as she wanted to go to school.....as she had the weekend off and she missed her teacher! Too cute! Kelly thought the late arrival today was pretty fun....as she took a long bath this morning and starting making crafts before school......and she still got to go to school too!
