Molly's 2nd Birthday Party!

We celebrated Molly's 2nd birthday with the traditional family party at our house on Saturday, December 4....the day after her "real" birthday! We received around 7-8 inches of snow the night before....but everyone we thought was coming, still made it! Molly had so much fun! She LOVED all the Abby Cadabby decorations, favors, cake, all her presents, and everyone coming to celebrate her being TWO!

When the last of the guests left at 3:30pm, Molly was still going strong! We decided not to put her down for a nap and just to put her to bed early.....

Celebrating at Happy Joe's

It has become a tradition that we celebrate the girls "real" birthdays at Happy Joe's as a family. Even in the snow storm tonight....we couldn't break our Snyder family tradition! We ate yummy pizza, the girls played some games, and they both got a clown sundae! A perfect end to a fun day for Molly! One more big celebration tomorrow with our big family party!

Birthday lunch at McDonald's

We started Molly's birthday celebrations out today with lunch at McDonald's playland. Lynnie met us there with all the kids and everyone had a GREAT time! We were there over TWO HOURS! Big sister Kelly and best friend Sophia helped Molly get to the top of the playland area....and once Molly got up there once....she didn't want to stop! The two older girls were being really nice and kept helping the birthday girl! Issac and Jamison (both 2 yr.s old) and Paige (1.5 yrs. old) also joined in the fun! Everyone had a great time! Happy 2nd Birthday Miss Molly!

Sesame Street LIVE

Today was Molly's first "Big girl FUN day!" It was the first time Molly got to do something special, without her big sister. We took Kelly to Sesame Street Live in Cedar Rapids just before she turned two years old. (When my Mom still lived in Cedar Rapids). Conveniently, Sesame Street live was in Dubuque right before Molly is going to turn TWO...so today was Molly's fun day! MOLLY LOVED IT!!!!! She was mesmorized by all the characters.....especially Abby, Elmo, Ernie, and Big Bird. Abby got REALLY CLOSE to us at one point, and the entire rest of the show Molly said "Abby, are you!?!?" She kept looking for Abby! Good thing she is having an Abby Cadabby birthday party next weekend! Here are a few pictures....

It was such a fun afternoon! It's great seeing it through the eyes of an almost two year old!

It's still FALL....

TODAY! It was a rainy, yucky weekend but the weather was nice when we picked Kelly up from school today! We had a front yard FULL of leaves....so we decided to rake them into a big pile! Kelly wanted friends to play in the leaves with so she asked Lexi and Logan (our neighbors) and the other kids (there mom does in-home daycare) if they would come play with her! The kids had fun....and played until it was dark outside!
