Tree Planting

My swimming and diving team planted a tree today as a memorial for Pete Schneider....who passed away suddenly of a heart attack in December, 2013.  All four Schneider girls have been a part of the Wahlert swim team.

**Amy swam for me for four years and went to state all four  years.

**Kelly was a four year swimmer AND my assistant coach for two years.

**Emily was a four year swimmer AND is my current assistant coach.

**Ali is a freshmen on the team this year.

 We hope as this tree grows, these girls will remember all the good times with their Dad...and all the wonderful memories through Wahlert Swimming and Diving too!

My swimming and diving team had our team pictures taken today.....and I love that they take pictures of my girls too! (One of the perks of coaching for 16 years!)

Henry Villas ZOO

Grandma Peggy and Papa Michael took the girls to the Henry Villas Zoo in Madison, WI.  The weather was perfect....and the girls had a wonderful time! We haven't been there in a few years....and Kelly still remembered certain things at the zoo.  (Her memory is amazing!)

Lost Island

Papa Bear and Grandma Jackie took the girls (along with lots of cousins) to the Lost Island waterpark in Waterloo, Iowa today!  The girls had a great time!

Girl Scout CAMPOREE

Kelly had the annual Dyersville Girl Scout Camporee at Camp Little Cloud.  This year, her troop slept in tee-pees!  She thought it was really neat....because the tee-pees had bunk beds in them!  The weather was beautiful!  The girls made headbands in the Hogan craft center, went creek-stomping, swimming, played games, made smores. participated in the water olympics, and had an all around good time!
