Pumpkin Patch

We had a great afternoon at Schuster's Pumpkin Patch! The girls LOVE the yearly tradition! This year the Salow family was able to join in on the fun!

Czipar's Apple Festival

We enjoyed a beautiful day at Czipar's Apple Orchard with the Salow family. The girls had a lot of fun sampling apples, apple cidar, and apple doughnuts!

Kick-off to Brownie Girl Scouts

Our second grade bowling troop had a bowling kick-off party this afternoon! 16 second graders had fun getting ready for another year of Dyersville Girl Scouts. They loved bowling and hanging out again! Let the fun of another year of girl scouts begin!

Fun at the Pool

Kelly has come to swim practice with me the last few Fridays.....Molly is at daycare on Fridays and my practice starts earlier....so it's just easier for Kelly to come with me right after school. She swims for about half of the time.....and then she plays! This is what she did today....with the help of my manager. Fun times at the pool!!!

Soccer Saturdays!!!

Kelly is enjoyed soccer again this year.....maybe even a little bit more after today's soccer game!!!

Kelly scored TWO GOALS!!!!

Kelly is in the 1st/2nd grade league. There are 14 teams in the league for this level this year. Kelly's team is 3-1 right now. They WON today's game 5-0....and Kelly scored TWO GOALS.....the first two goals of her life! She scored her first goal two minutes into the game in the first quarter as Alec passed it right to her and she kicked it in. Her second goal came in the 4th quarter when she dribbled it down and kicked it in all on her own! She has always wanted to score a goal.....and her dream came true today......TWICE!

5th Annual Big Girl/Mommy Day

My two college roommates and I started a tradition 5 years ago.....to get together once a year with our oldest children....that all happen to be girls with May and June birthdays. It started out as a birthday celebration and a way for our oldest to have some time apart from their baby siblings. Now, 5 years later, the tradition is still going strong! We all have other "big girls and boys"......so we might have to start a new tradition with the younger siblings! We meet in the Quad Cities.....which is in the center for all of us. This year we met at Whitewater water park in Rock Island, IL.....the weather was perfect.....and it was a wonderful day.....for the girls and the Moms!!!!
