Pumpkin Patch & Apple Orchard

 We had a wonderful day at Schuster's Pumpkin Patch and Czipar's Apple Orchard!!!  The weather was PERFECT and the kids had a great time!!!

Pizza, Park, & Parade!!!

 Molly & I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with our library storytime friends.  We started a play group over a year ago but haven't been able to all get together since May when school was out.  One of the Moms got a job at DBQ OBGYN and I was working at Loras Sports Camp....now I'm working at Xavier and all four of the kids are in different classrooms (in 3 schools!) 

**Molly & Chase both go to Xavier but since Chase has an August birthday...he is in the 4 year old preschool and Molly is in the 3 year old preschool.

**Alaina lives in Peosta so she goes to Seton Catholic preschool

Needless to say....it worked that we were all able to get together this afternoon as Tara gets off at noon and I don't work on Fridays.  We met at Pizza Hut for lunch, followed by a trip to the park for the kids to play, and then we watched the Beckman Homecoming Parade and the kids got A LOT of candy!!!

The beginning of FALL....

We were out shopping for a little while yesterday afternoon and while we were at the Mall.....Bath and Body Works was having a FALL sale....and giving out free little pumpkins.  Our family received 4 and the girls spent an hour this morning painting them!  A fun beginning of Fall craft!!!

Show and tell....

We had an excited 3 year old all weekend......because on Thursday, she brought home the SHOW AND TELL bag for preschool!  She was the second kid in her class to get the show and tell bag.  She told me the first one was a boy....and he brought a tractor!  Molly debated between 3 things all weekend.....her blanket, a baby, or her princesses!

As you can see....she was VERY EXCITED to bring her sister's princess castle.....with all of her 8 little princesses inside!  It was the first day she didn't cry when I dropped her off at school!!!! :)  Her teacher told me the kids LOVED the princesses and Molly "came out of her shell" when she was talking about each princess and passing them around the circle.

She truly enjoyed being Show and Tell kid!!!!

Papa Tom's B*I*R*T*H*D*A*Y

Today was Papa Tom's 70th birthday!  He said his body may feel like he is 70 at times....but his mind does not!  We had a great time celebrating his special day with lunch at Happy Joe's (after Kelly's soccer game) followed by cake made by Grandma Pat.  It was nice to be able to get together and celebrate!  Happy Birthday Tom!

More soccer....

I've said it a lot....but Kelly really enjoys soccer.  Brian took these couple pictures at her soccer game and it shows her right in the middle of the action!  It doesn't matter that she is one of the youngest and smallest kids on the field....she is a soccer player!

Camping - Labor Day Weekend

We went camping with the Salow family and a few other families over Labor Day weekend.  The weather was BEAUTIFUL....not too hot, but cooled down in the evenings.  The kids had a blast.  We had some games and activites planned for the kids....which they LOVED!  One of the other Moms there even bought small prizes for all the kids.  They had a wonderful time...and we did too!
